24 beauty tips

MyBest 24 Beauty Tips ever

1 . Sunlight is your skin's worst enemy, so my no.1 product recommendation would be  a sunscreen worn over moisturizer and under foundation to guard against UV attack

2. The temple area is where most people's hair is weakest, so your colorist should go easy there, too much bleaching will cause breakage and thinning. If you bleach your hair regularly have your colorist start slightly back from the hair line.

3. To get cool beachy wave rather than curls, wrap your hair around large-barrel curling irons, leaving the ends out. The trick is to slowly slide the barrel up and down the hair to ensure the heat doesn't set it into a curl. Finish by loosening the waves with a brush.

4. Instead of lining your entire mouth with a lip pencil, just round your top lip by softening the outline of the Cupid's bow. This is instantly make your lips looks bigger.

5. Use a primer everyday, not just on special occasion. It's like adding a super-base, and make s makeup look perfect for longer.

6. Always apply your body cream after your chosen fragrance, as it will lock it in place and make the scent last longer.

7. Never pluck out very long eyebrow hairs, as these give brows the natural shapes. If you alter them too much, they will be out of sync with your bone structure.

8. Take an ice cube, place it in a handkerchief and rub it across your face three to five times to tighten your skin and gives your face a fresh look. Much better than botox.

9. Never use too much product on your hair. No matter how many times i tell clients, models and celebrities, they still put too much on. Aim for 10p-sized blob of shampoo or conditioner, and 5p-sized blob is enough for serum. Remember, less is more!

10. Never be a slave to the hair trends if they don't make you feel good about who you are. Stick to what suits you, your face and hair type, as well as your personality.

11. Excessive exercise can have detrimental results- too much weight loss will remove volume from face, and can leave it looking prematurely aged. Exercise is necessary, but in moderation.

12. For the illusion of plumper lips, trace all around your lipline with a shimmery, pale gold highlighter. Do it after foundation and before lip colour.

13. Protein in natural yogurt can soften dry hair, making it a cheap intensive hair mask.

14. If you use a cream  cleanser, always follow with an alchohol-free toner that gently tones pores  and prepares skin for the next application, whether it be a moisturizer or a night cream.

15. For tired eyes, try mixing a touch of liquid highligther with your undereye concealer to add more moisture and boost luminosity.

16. Unless your skin is sensitive, scrub daily! It stimulates circulation, which in turn improves the oxygen levels reaching your skin and makes everything look healthier.

17. Dry at least 70% of the moisture from your hair before applying  and mousse or blow-dry spray. The wetter the hair, the more diluted the products, so the performance is reduced.

18. Try to sleep on your back on to avoid squishing your face on the pillow, which will cause wrinkles. The areas particularly  at risk are the nose-to-mouth lines. A silk pillowcase will help, as it reduces friction.

19. When putting your hair up, always hair your hair grips with hairspray before putting them in. This will make them sticky, securing them for longer.

20. Try doing a headstand against the wall for one minute a day to energize the skin. This really helps to deeply oxygenate the head, brain and skin, and detox the facial tissue.

21. If you have a dry and itchy scalp, don't be afraid to brush your hair thoroughly  with natural-bristle brush. It will distribute your scalp's natural oil, helping to really hydrate both your hair and scalp - your scalp will also get a light exfoliation.
22. Releasing tension from the neck -and mind- is crucial, as all the tension we holds reflects on our face. Massage will take 10 years off your looks.

23. Remember that leave-on products will have more impact than wash-off products. So economise on things like cleanser and splurge on products  like antioxidant serums, where you get what you pay for.

24. For eye-popping texture, double-tong your hair. After using curling tongs all over, brush brush through the curls and then use the curling tongs a second time on random section for fantastic, all-day volume.

Perfect cut and colour???

How to get the perfect cut and color

Question to ask yourself
What hair type I have got?
Know what your hair is capable of is a must. If you are visiting a salon for the first time, have a long consultation with your new stylist and don’t book an appointment until you’re convinced they understand your hair.

Is my hair the right length?
Be realistic when it comes to choosing style, and remember, unless you invest in extensions, they stylist can’t make you hair grow! If you want a style with long sides, but a month ago you had them shaved, it’s unlikely you’re going to leave with a bob!

What is my lifestyle like?
Your lifestyle will dictate how much time and money you have to devote to your hair. If you often visit the gym, or spend a lot of time outdoors, you want to a style that’s quick to blowdry (or easy to tie back), and a colour that doesn’t need a lot of maintenance (one that won’t give highly visible regrowth)

Should I try something wacky?
It’s tempting to go for the latest trend and colours, but before you do, ask yourself if they will suit your fashion sense. A radical colour and style can sometime mean change of colour in your wardrobe, a new set of make-up, and a brand new attitude. So it’s not a decision you should make lightly.

The colour rules
Think skin tone
If you want a natural-looking finish, then you will need to consider your skin tone. As a general rule, cool skin tones suits cool colours (like blue and purple), where’s warm skin tones suits warm colours (like red and orange). These colours should form the base of any colour you would like to add to your hair.

Light and natural?
If you’re just after a shades that enhances what you already have, or return your hair to it’s natural tone, then highlights for blondes and a semi-permanent colour for brunettes may be the perfect answer. Both option adds shine.

Solid and shiny?
Some colour treatments thicken the hair strands. With this in mind, if you’re after a shade that makes your hair healthy-looking then an all-over or permanent shade may be the answer. In general, semi-permanent are less damaging than permanents.

Flashes and brightness?
Make solid, dark shades more interesting with lowlights. These thin strips of muted bright and dark shades look like filtered light and are often viewed as ‘highlights’ for brunettes, but the can equally be placed through  red hair too. The thicker the colour, the more contemporary the finished look.

A serious statement?
Colour is where you can really show your individuality. If you are dark and want to be bright pink, you will need a full head bleach first to give yourself a light enough base colour to dye onto. You can also bleach smaller sections of hair that you colour up in different shades depending on your mood.

The style option
Will I suit a fringe
Fringes suit most face shapes, especially long ones and can even hide wrinkles. Avoid a straight, thick fringe if you have a square face as it can make it look more angular.

Should I go short?
Short hair looks great on those with small features and/or oval, heart and round faces.

What will layers do?
Layers add movement and texture to fine, lack-lustre hair. They also help frame round and long faces and can be used to think out thicker hair.

Does my hair need thinning out?
Very thick hair can sometimes benefits from thinning scissors but beware if your hair is coarse too, as cutting it too short can make it spike up, leaving your root area messy.

What about my curls?
It definitely pays to hint out a stylist who knows how to cut curls, as they can be tricky at the best of times. Always overestimate length when you have it cut, especially if your hair is wet, to make sure your hair doesn’t spring back into a much shorter style.
