Healthy Tips

Many people especially GIRLS thinks that by eating healthy or maybe not eating contributes to weight lost. Often judging by the calories they consume per-day and forgetting some minor things that can actually benefiting them. Living is this century, people are too preoccupied with their long working hours and hasn't gotten much time for themselves. They are used to downloading dramas or movies to watch and always staying up late.(Which is bad) You probably have no idea that skimping on sleep can actually expand your waistline, right? Well, here's the good news, Researcher from Japan Dr.Daiki Kobayashi shows that night to night sleep consistency is crucial for weight control. Erratic pattern may interfere  with the appetite-regulating hormones such as leptin. To fight fat freely without much exercise, start establishing a regular bedtime and stick to it.

Watch out for the next rise and crash - and I'm not talking about the stock market volatility. Processed carbohydrates and refined sugars in your diet may cause your insulin level to spike, leaving you feel starved like a hunger for foods. Good news is that there is other nutritional  GEMS that can help to control your insulin sensitivity. That is STRAWBERRY. The real deal fruit and not the bread spread or juices. This fruit pack with high antioxidant plays a major role in taming the insulin.

Swap Orange Juice for Oranges

If you start your day with a glass Orange Juice, switch it to a whole orange instead. A glass of OJ can contain more than 200 calories, most of which are from sugar. By eating the fruit instead you get all the taste and refreshment, in addition to fibre, which slows the release of energy into your blood.

Swap Jam for Peanut butter

Switching your spread from jam to peanut butter will help lower your blood sugar response so you don't feel hungry again until lunch. Peanut butter is packed with slow release energy as well as good fats and protein, whereas jam is sugary fruit paste without the nutrients of the fresh fruit.

Swap Margarine for Butter
Think butter is bad because it's high in saturated fats? Think again. Although higher in calories than margarine, butter provides essential nutrients including vitamin A, helps raise level of good cholesterol and allow your body to store fat-soluble vitamins. Margarine contains high fats, which increase level of bad cholesterol  and have been linked to heart disease and other health problem.

Here Are Some Handy Ingredients That You Should Look Out For If You Want To Get A More Radiant Complexion.

Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecules that's found naturally in our skin. It can hold up to 1000 times it's weight in water, making it a super  sponge that effectively increase your skin's moisture content. As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin diminished, so make this ingredient your strong ally when it comes to your skincare regime. You probably heard of certain brand that emphasize about hyaluronic acid on their products. =)

Glycerin
Skin looses it's luminosity because of dryness. Lack of moisture leads to build up of dead skin cells which creates a barrier that blocks the natural skin brightening effect on the blood vessel. Glycerin  is an active ingredient that draws water up to the skin surface and slows down the lost of moisture while leaving it supple and brighter skin.

Salicylic Acid
Cell turnover rate slows down and dead skin cells pile up unevenly on our face, leading to a dull and patchy complexion. Salicylic acid  removes  excess sebum and dead skin cells. Plus, this ingredient is commonly used on acne-care, it loosen the skin cells within each pores, effectively preventing formation of clogged pores.

Green tea oh green tea. Everyone generally knows the basic benefit of it but they didn't know that green tea helps fight cavities, bad breath and oral cancer and lowering the risk of getting type-2 diabetes. This is due to the polyphenols found in the drink. Drink up to 240ml cups of the brewed stuff a day to reap up the maximum perks. You didn't know about this until you read this, right? (^_^)

TOMATOES : NATURAL ANTIOXIDANTS
They are rich in vitamin C and lycopene. The former has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, while the latter also is also and antioxidant that boost skin healing and collagen production. the combination of lycopene and vitamin C is great for repairing and rebuilding skin.

FISH : SKIN'S BUILDING BLOCKS
Fish is one of the richest source of lean protein, which helps to replenish the body's natural building blocks for regeneration. One good reason to get more fish in your diet : It is said to result in well-hydrated skin with increased elasticity and thickness - great for preventing sagging and wrinkles.

Your Last Moment

Hello there everyone. Today I'm gonna share with you the result of my Photoshop skill that i learnt online. I think it's pretty incredible. You may save your money from enrolling on illustration class. All you need is a click away from the net. Thanks to those who share their skill and experience, without them, I am as clueless as you. =)

Cheers to those great Sensei.

Basically i followed the instruction from these people and i created my own so called illustration( i know i'm just an amateur). I find it good because it gives you the dreamy feel and the teary sensation.

I start from this picture as my base.

Then i added this photo (snapped by friend Soloman Freeman )

After spending some time tweaking the light, adding layers, flares,                particles, vignetting.
This is the final result.

Thank you for taking a look. Hehehe...  (^_^)v

Fucked up whole colleague.

Seriously, why does people love to pass judgement on me based on my face? Why? I was born with this kind of look. It's not that i want it. You may say that if i try to smile abit more it will makes things different but that ain't me. People have the sense to smile when they want, they dont go smile around just to get through the day. When I've got no mood to smile, that means there will be no smile. It doesn't mean i'm moody or I've just step on some dog shit and that's it for my day. You may the one who can smile all day but i may not be the one. But hey, seriously, when i dont smile, i do look so damn fierce. SO WHAT?! If you think you know me, that's just me when i'm not smiling. Why the hell you people must start giving some me shit like you're scares of me or even talk to me? I've got no knife on the back of my hand that ready to stab you when you pull my trigger. You must be thinking that this is fun and probably laughing right? Well you see, I AM WHO I AM. So if you think you people are happy passing judgement on me based on my look, then suits yourself. I am there just doing my job, getting my pay cheque. That's all. You can't expect from me too much.

Last but least, you people do upset me too sometimes. How? Let's make this simple, my secondary duty is to clean up those mirrors, chairs and side table. You can see that i clean those place neatly EVERYDAY WHEN I ARRIVE WORK. You just used that place to style your hair using the hair dryer, sitting down your pretty ass on the chair. When you are done, you just left! And i mean YOU JUST LEFT! The hair dryer was not on it's original place, the chair was not pushed back inside, mirror or products still laying beside the table. Imagine that this is what you left for me to tidy up EVERYDAY right after i clean that place up, how would I feel? Pretty much pissed off right? Hey, i am not bullshitting this. I have been given this duty, i do my best and these people just like a whirlwind come and mess it up. That ain't nice right? It has 6 month since then. This does not apply to an individual, this applies to almost everyone in the god damn floor.

Now you know why sometimes i'm not in the favor to smile when i see those shit you left for me again and again. I'm not the type that wish to remind you as you are OLD enough to acknowledge these common thing.

The Big Deals About Sulfates

Why are sulfates the big bad wolf of haircare? They starts a cycle that make hair dry. The solution : break that cycle with products that are free from them.

The villain ingredient in cosmetics right now are sulfates. Most of us have heard(perhaps not everyone) that they should be avoided and that they are harmful. Few of us know, or what they do.

Also commonly found in household cleansers under the name sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate and ammonium laureth sulfates. Sulfates are the lathering agent that clean your hair and create foam and froth when you shampoo. Why are they getting the bad press? They literally strip hairs moisture and skins essential oil.

The worst part : most women ( i'm talking about the whole world population ) think that working up a great BIG lather when they shampoo will clean their hair more effectively. But what really is happens is the start of the vicious  cycle. Sulfates strip hair oil, causing it to become dehydrated and frizzy. You then slap on conditioner to try and reduce the frizz. The silicone-loaded conditioner coats your hair, weighs it down and makes it greasy, so you more shampoo and so it continues. . . . . . ( you get what i mean?) (>o<)/

Add to that exposure to the villain's sidekicks - UV-ray, over heat styling, stress, chemical treatments and excessively brushing - and you end up with a HALO unmanageable frizz. So, how do you restore your hair's former glory? Look for sulfates-free shampoo and silicone-free conditioner. I know there's people who wants to see the immediate result but none silicone base conditioner or treatments doesn't show it infront of our naked eyes, in fact you wont even feel the immediate result. These products restructuring your hair from the inside which you only can see it under 200x zoom lens.

Still, if you insist of feeling the result from the outside of the hair, opt for leave in treatments that gives you few benefit such as heat protector, detangling and repairing.

Always remember one this, GOOD THING AIN'T CHEAP, CHEAP THING AIN'T GOOD. You pay for the ingredients, not the packaging or the brand ( although this is all counted in the products itself ). A good products lasts you up to 12 weeks and above depending how often you use.

Facial hair

Hello Hello there people. Lately i found out that mustache on men is soo smexy that you bet almost every girl on their late 20's onwards will be turned on. (>o<) . Seriously, i have never fond with mustache until recently after watching some Japanese drama actor with mustache. It's such an amazing sex appeal i should say. Here's the question, I was thinking of growing some because it's about the time around my age to have some ( hahaha, well i mean it). People who viewed my look from outside just couldn't tell what's my age, but that's just a number to me since growing old doesn't mean you have to look old, right?

Since young, i have never really shaved my face till today. So, basically, my facial hair seems pretty fine just  like the hair on my arm. That means in order to achieve a much fuller facial hair, i will have to start shaving. \(>O<)/  *shocked*

Here are some few look i was planning to achieve. Pretty smexy right? ^^

Tired work, tired legs

Ughwah..... I'm so tired... Recently the work has been getting quite tiring. Thanks to the company who does the G-coupon thingy. Well, it's not like i'm complaining. I had fun attending all those people who brought the g-coupon voucher. Getting to know some new people, exchanging some information, digging some money out from their wallet and hopefully they will come back looking for me again.  XDD  That's work for me. All i need after my working hour is a good dinner which is my regular Yong Tau Foo. Why Yong tau Foo? Because you get to choose what you want when it comes to the vegetable or the fried fish ball thingy. Next, i will head home with my food and turn on my laptop to watch my current drama. The GTO jdrama. (Great Teacher Onizuka)

You might want to check out this movie because it's a remake of the older version during 1999. This remake has much more impact compared to the old one. I like the expression of this guy who portrayed Onizuka. It does resemble the manga Onizuka Sensei.
