Inconveniently, guys don't walk around with the signs hanging off their necks declaring their relationship status, so it's impossible to see who's the fair game. Once, for example, I spent hours chatting to a girl of my dreams at a bar. As she placed her her hands on mine, I thought, "This is it. She's about to ask for my number." But, no, she squeezed my hand instead, said it was nice to meet me, then disappeared into the night, saying she had to get home to her boyfriend.
So, how do you pick out the single men from the "TAKEN ONES"?
Here's some clue for ya'people when it comes to spot your dream man - how to work out if he's single, in a relationship, or just up for fun.
Single Man Move #1
WHERE HE"S LOOKING...
Target found ==> Single men are usually more likely to look around the room for women. There's a sense of availability and openness about single men. They want to find the girl of their dream.
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==> Unavailable men may be more reserved. They are more likely focused on chatting with their own group of friend, rather than analyzing other people in the room.
Single Man Move #2
WHERE IS HIS CHEST FACING...
Target found ==> Whatever man aims his chest towards in he room is the most meaningful thing to him - whether it's the keg, you, or your friends, you don't have to argue who he's interested in - look at where his chest is pointing.
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==>Attached men will stand with their arms crossed. He's putting something between himself and the single girl to show she's not welcomed.
Single Man Move #3
HOW HE SMILES...
Target found ==> If he has a closed mouth with the cornes turning up into grin, rest assured he likes you but doesn't want to reveal too much so soon. He's probably shy so he won't put his emotion on show right away.
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==> If he half-smiles, there's a good chance he just wants a fling. A sneer-like grin is the indication he's not being sincere. It's a split-face gesture; each side of his face is telling a different story.
Single Man Move #4
HOW HE MOVES HIS SHOULDER...
Target found ==> If his shoulder are slightly rounded and facing towards you when you chat, he feels as though he wants to protect you. He's being the protector and wants to take care of you.
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==> When you ask if he's in a relationship, watch his shoulder. If he shrugs one shoulder, it's the almost-apologetic gesture of someone who's lying to you. It's like saying,"Sorry, but you asked". He may also start scratching his face
Single Man Move #5
WHERE HE IS IN THE ROOM...
Target found ==> Single men position themselves by the bar as this offers opportunities to engage single women in a chat. He can offer you a drink and, at the same time, watch people on the dance floor to asses who he likes.
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==> If he's standing with his back to the room, he's not interested in what's happening around him. If a man stands with his back to the action, chances are, he is in a happy relationship.
Single Man Move #6
WHAT HE DOES WHEN YOU MAKE EYE CONTACT...
Target found ==> If he cocks his head to one side, it's a subtle come-hither signal. He's inviting you to join him, suggesting that he's not only single but wants to get to know you better
NON-NEGOTIABLE TARGET ==> It couldn't be simpler when it comes to eye contact. If he catches your eye and glazes over, he's not interested and his mind is elsewhere - probably back home with his girlfriend.
